Such a written opinion may be useful in persuading the competitor to back down or in causing the patent to be found invalid in court.
• Patent non-infringement opinion: Your competitor cannot use its patent against you if the patent does not cover your technology. Determining whether a particular patent covers your technology requires a careful interpretation of the patent, based on nuances of patent law, and an analysis of your technology in light of that interpretation. We can perform such an analysis and provide you with a written legal opinion as to whether your technology infringes the competitor’s patent.
